Over 50 stalls, Craft, Charity and information stalls including the Avon Wildlife, Woodland Trust, the Bristol Bee Keepers and their Bees and a Model Train display
The Friends will have their famous 'Plant Sale' and this year we have hundreds of locally grown Tomato plants of many different varieties at £1.25p each.
Children's activities include, Cleve Rugby Club- an Introduction to Rugby, Downend Flyers- Goal Shoot and the Staple Hill Youth Club - Skateboarding Team plus Albert Rogers Fairground rides, Bouncy Castles and the new Activity Centre
Refreshments include Pizza's, Thai dishes, Hot dogs, Burgers, Chips, cakes and pastries. The Bean Tree Cafe menu is going to be cream teas ONLY and it will be served on Lillie's Vintage China (a hire company that is partnering with the cafe. The cafe will, of course, still be doing takeaway cakes and drinks. Cream teas in the Sensory Garden will be accompanied by a selection of musical performances.
Bandstand performances will start at 11am and go on until 5pm, a program to suit all tastes, join in singing and dancing.
At 3pm the Rock Choir will lead us all into the National Anthem and Land of Hope and Glory so bring your flags and lets celebrate the Queen's 70 years on the throne.
A day for families, friends and our community to come together.
The event is free and has been organised by the Friends of Page Park who are financially supporting the day along with Councillors Ian Boulton, Michael Bell and a grant from South Glos Council, but we ask for your support with donations in our Collection Buckets that will be available around the site and at the Friends gazebo. Dress Code Red White and Blue
We ask visitors to either walk to the event or park well away from the parks surrounding roads, weather permitting we should attract many visitors so we need to ensure buses and emergency vehicles are able to flow safely.
